PETER GENA, Associate Professor and chairperson of the Time Arts Program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, studied music composition with Morton Feldman and computer music with Lejaren Hiller at S.U.N.Y., Buffalo. His works for various media have been performed and aired throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. Recent performances include his For Morton Feldman, for piano, recorded for broadcast by the Hessicher Rundfunk in Frankfurt and premiered by Joseph Kubera this March in New York. During his years in Chicago, he has produced, directed and performed in many new musical and multi-media events including Mayor Byrnes New Music America '82.
